BIBENDA 2017: Probably the most reputed Italian wine guide at the moment.
Outstanding Wine with Undisputed Prestige. To Drink now with a peak in 3/5 Years.
"NENNI TOSCANA, has started its path in Siena, Terre di San Galgano, at the heart of Tuscan countryside.
It is a family-owned boutique winery that works together with an International team of skilled penologists and researchers (Andrea Paoletti,Daniel Schuster, Laura Bernini) that have developed an impressive track record with some of the most important Worldwide estates: Chateau Palmer in France, Ornellaia, Solaia e Tignanello in Italy, Stags Leap and Opus One in Napa Valley, Penfolds in Australia.
All work is hand made, methodology is organic agricolture, sound waves therapy is used to preserve vines in good health. A severe selection of the grapes before and during the harvest is practiced in order to guarantee the best quality of Sangalgano, produced in a limited numbered edition. We found a perfect balance and tasting deepness, with a great management of small oaks that opened the way to an amazing four grapes rating at our first review in Bidenda Guide.
WINE TYPE: Red Super Tuscan | Grapes: Sangiovese 100% | Vol.14% | Bottles: 1.600 | Bottle format: 0,750
Ruby Red compact and concentrated. Aromatic bouquet of plum, black cherry jam, almond and juniper, cigar
box, dry tobacco and tan leather is embracing a delicate sweet spice, mediterranean forest, balsamic and nott traces with a mineral finish. Tannins are powerful and dynamic. Fresh at the start, rich and tasty in the end."

"Consultants here include New Zealander Danny Schuster. 100% Sangiovese, grown near Siena, it was aged for 24 months in second-use French oak. Full of life and very obviously Sangiovese with its dry finish and appetising, savoury palate. This is food wine par excellence and full of pure, vibrant fruit. Great for fans of a true expression of Tuscany. Just 1,600 bottles filled which makes me suspect it is quite expensive."
